Reading:
- I recently finished Factfulness: Ten Reasons We're Wrong About the World – and Why Things Are Better Than You Think, by Hans Rosling. It reminds you of human biases and how to respond instead of react. It shows that life is globally doing better than you think it is.
- Instead of reading tweets, I have found reading blogs infinitely more interesting! It's very simple, if you have a personal website, I will click on it. Reading Essays by Paul Graham now, as well as other interesting Twitter folks' personal websites.
Favorite Purchases:
The things I bought in 2024 that improved my quality of life:
- 8Sleep - sleep cool throughout the night, or sleep warm in the winter. Transforms your bed into a tappable piece of technology.
- 4K Projector - XGIMI. So worth the price, my wall is now my personal theater, and it auto-adjusts from any angle. Very little set up, it includes excellent audio.
- Wax Ear Plugs - This blocks the street noise pollution for a high quality night of sleep
- Korean Skin Care, Scalp Care: I bought a set that has changed my skin texture, and have been adding scalp care for healthy locks.
- Kindle: Reading anywhere is easy and accessible. Thanks to my boyfriend for a very thoughtful birthday gift :)
- Keurig & SF coffee pods: I used to pourover my own coffee, but the keurig Sf coffee pods combo gets me thorugh the day quickly and efficiently. Fav pods are Rainforest & Fog Chaser
- Perm: For the girls...I permed my lashes and my long hair. I have tattooed ombre shadow eyebrows. I've removed 15-30 minutes of upkeep in the morning every day, and am ready out the door with just sunscreen and eyeliner.
- Claude Artifacts: I talk to Claude all the time, I ask him to plan my day, my schedule, I asked him to make this website. I continue to learn new things, Claude encourages me to stay curious.
- TimeTimer: I have the Pomodoro for 10 minutes at a time. I need the catalyst to get me started, and sometimes it's just 1 session that gets me back up and running for the rest of my day
